Founded in 2016, Divitta Alexander PLLC is a solo community development law practice located in Buffalo, New York that focuses on affordable housing and small business development matters. We believe that vibrant communities are comprised of housing its residents can afford and small businesses that allow local dollars to circulate locally.
We assist a wide range of clients primarily including for-profit and not-for-profit developers of affordable, mixed-income, mixed-use and/or supportive housing development projects in Upstate New York. Our services span the entire development process, as needed, from the planning phase through financing, construction, lease-up and permanent conversion. We commonly handle the acquisition and refinancing of existing projects and other complex real estate development transactions, and often assist clients with applying for and closing on project financing and real estate tax incentives.
Additionally, we assist entrepreneurs with a wide range of matters including entity formation and modification, reviewing contracts, preparing proposals on their behalf in response to RFPs, and compliance matters.
